Martyr Soleimani representation unveiled in Lebanon

A bust of Iran's top anti-terror commander General Qassem Soleimani has been unveiled in Lebanon.

The sculptural representation of General Soleimani was installed in Beirut’s southern suburb of Ghobeiry on Tuesday.

The bust has been placed in one of Ghobeiry streets, which had been earlier named after the Iranian commander.

General Soleimani, who was the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), as well as eight other people in a US drone strike at Baghdad’s international airport on January 3, 2020.
